ABOUT ME

Monique Schröder was born in Berlin and noticed at an early age that her desire for physical activity shaped her everyday life. This first led her to the Friedrichstadt-Palast Youth Ensemble (2009) and later, at the age of seven, to artistic gymnastics. Through artistic gymnastics, she laid the foundation for the Berlin State School of Circus Arts. After being accepted into the school, it became clear to her: "I'm going to turn my passion into a career." Monique quickly became friends with her current companion, the Gymball, and developed a routine in which she clearly illustrates the interplay of impulses and the relationship between herself and the ball. After nine years of training, which taught her the basic building blocks of an acrobatic artist, Monique graduated with top marks in 2022 and began to turn her dream into reality. Since then, she has performed on stages around the world and is enjoying her artistic journey to the fullest.
